Worl snake -01

The project World of Snakes has been started 1994 in the tropical, middle american country of Costa Rica by two Austrian snake specialists. Since then it has grown to one of biggest and species-richest projects of this kind worldwide..

The concept is characterized by three main divisions:
  • The zoological garden brings the incredible variety of herpetofauna to the visitor and accomplishes an important educational mission.
  • The prfessional breeding makes of a big variety of species available for other zoological gardens, exhibitions and even private collectors without the need to take out specimen from their natural habitat.
  • Research Work focuses on endangered species and obtained results will help to save their continuity in nature.
